Ames Polar Plunge

Each spring, Special Olympics Iowa hosts a Polar Plunge in conjunction with Greek Week on the campus at Iowa State University. Over 500 college students collect pledges and take the plunge into Lake LaVerne.

The plunge is open to college students and community members!
