Sponsor an Athlete

Sponsor an Athlete is a campaign established to cover the costs associated with the state competitions held annually in Ames, Dubuque and Iowa City. This campaign provides businesses, civic organizations and individuals the opportunity to support citizens of Iowa with intellectual disabilities.

The dollars raised underwrite the cost of renting competition facilities, housing and meals for more than 11,000 athletes and Unified Sports Partners. As in all Special Olympics events, there is no cost for the athletes to participate.
